A very successful “From Generation to Generation: Business Continuity in Family Businesses” conference was organized by LGA Israeli advisor, Mika and Galit, together with Globes the leading financial newsletter, KPMG and Meitar the leading law firm in Israel in the stock exchange in Tel Aviv on July 20. 170 of Israel’s leading enterprising families attended the conference. Ivan presented on Succession Conspiracy. Devin led a session on Managing Risks in turbulent times. Mika participated in a panel on the key factors of success in multi-generational family businesses. The event received great press coverage and generated a number of LGA project leads.

Earlier this week in Israel LGA’s Advisors and KPMG Israel hosted the periodic meeting of the Family Office Forum. The experts on enterprising families discussed continuity management, dispelled some common myths about family businesses, and more importantly, examined the engines of continuity that enable successful intergenerational transfers and development of the family business over the years. Other topics discussed were the world of taxes and the connection to the family – trusts, wills, donations, philanthropy, intergenerational transfers and more. Among the speakers were Amir Shani, Mika Mazor, Advisor at LGA and Cohen Nissim Congratulations to all the participants and attendees for their contributions to Family Business Continuity.
