Sofi comes from a multicultural background, with strong connections to Europe, Latin America, and the United States. She is a sixth-generation member from an entrepreneurial family in Venezuela.

Sofi has specialized in working with family enterprises and family offices globally, with a strong focus on education and policies. Prior to joining LGA, she was active in implementing communications solutions for family businesses, their boards and shareholders through her work at Trusted Family. She’s also worked as an investor relations for a family office investment fund in Luxembourg.

Sofi is passionate about social inclusion projects, both with a philanthropic and entrepreneurial angle. In her free time, Sofi mentors social entrepreneurs through two global networks and advises family offices on strategic decisions around their impact. Prior to her work in family governance, Sofia was based in Paris and worked in public governance on European Union funded projects in Africa and the Middle East. 

Sofi is an active member on the board of two European cultural heritage foundations and on the advisory board of a network of global family offices. She speaks fluent English, French, Italian, Portuguese, and Spanish. 

She holds a Master’s degree from Sciences Po (IEP de Paris), and lives in Belgium with her two children.
