Paula Rincon

Paula has been a Clinical Psychologist for over 15 years and a Family Business Consultant for more than a decade, as well as a mediator and facilitator. She specializes in working with business families, helping them navigate interpersonal dynamics, manage conflicts, and strengthen relationships to ensure both family harmony and business continuity.

With extensive experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and emotional management, she supports family members in introspection processes, strengthening communication, engaging in productive conflict, and aligning personal and business interests. Her work focuses on helping family members gain clarity on their motivations, needs, and expectations, allowing them to build agreements that align individual and collective goals.

Previously, she spent 6 years working in a leading law firm, where she gained deep insights into legal and governance structures, complementing her psychological expertise. She has collaborated with multidisciplinary teams, facilitating transitions and leadership succession processes, to ensure long-term sustainability. This unique combination allows her to bridge the emotional and structural dimensions of family businesses, providing a comprehensive approach to their challenges.

Paula holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and has specialized in negotiation at Harvard Law School, conflict resolution at MIT xPRO, and is a Certified Family Business Advisor by the Family Firm Institute.

She loves sharing her knowledge as a speaker and facilitator, and has delivered talks and workshops for business families, universities and other institutions across Latin America.

Paula speaks Spanish and English. She currently lives between Bogotá and Mexico City.
