Marcy’s experience as a clinical psychologist, executive coach, and team facilitator gives her a unique ability to recognize the impact of individual factors, such as belief systems, personality and needs, in a team or business environment.
She has 25 years of experience as a Clinical Psychologist with a focus on high risk adolescent behaviors, complex family systems, and adult mental health. She consults with executives and leaders in complex business environments to help usher teams forward. Her work tends to focus on partnering with companies invested in identifying, growing, and sustaining effective leadership, engaging in conflict resolution, improving communication, and efficient transitioning of roles and responsibilities.
Marcy earned her B.A. from The University of Texas, and her M.A. and Ph.D. from The University of Connecticut. Marcy held the position of President of The Texas Psychological Association where she actively engaged in leadership development and identification of future leaders across the state, advocated at the state legislature for protection of public health, and met the needs of a diverse organization of constituents. Marcy obtained a certificate in leadership coaching from the Doerr Institute of New Leaders at Rice University.
She lives in Houston, TX with her husband and has two young adult sons.
