Kimberly Go

Kimberly is a family enterprise advisor specializing in next-generation engagement, intergenerational alignment, and governance in complex family systems. She works with multigenerational families through continuity, helping them address conflict while guiding decision-making that balances collective legacy with individual agency.

Kimberly brings close to a decade of experience working both within and alongside family enterprises. Drawing on her experience as a member of a three-generation family business, she provides a peer-level perspective to clients navigating the evolution of identity and responsibility. Within her own family, Kimberly led a governance initiative encompassing values alignment, succession planning, and cross-branch decision-making. She is frequently called upon by senior members to mediate and resolve intergenerational deadlocks, including the renovation of a 40-year-old mall and strategic share purchases in another family business.

Previously a consultant at a family advisory firm in the Philippines, Kimberly facilitated communication and conflict resolution workshops, and family constitution discussions. She specializes in surfacing sensitive or avoided topics and bridging perspectives to help families reach durable consensus.

Kimberly is Vice Chair and Publications Subcommittee Lead of the Family Firm Institute (FFI) Asian Circle, a group of 60+ practitioners advising Asian family enterprises. She works with advisors and academics to develop thought leadership on family governance in Asia, bringing real-world cases and family narratives from the region into the field.

She holds FFI’s Advanced Certificates in Family Business and Wealth Advising, completed the Bowen Center’s Continuing Studies Program, and has spoken at international forums such as the UBS NextGen Academy and Hong Kong Academy of Wealth Legacy Summit. These experiences shape an approach grounded in family enterprise research and close engagement with families.

Based in Manila, Philippines, Kimberly earned a B.S. in Journalism and Economics from Northwestern University and is pursuing an M.F.A. in Creative Writing at Bennington College. Her writing background informs how she helps families articulate identity and legacy.

She is fluent in English and Hokkien, with intermediate proficiency in Mandarin and Tagalog.
