Diane has been a Clinical Psychologist for over 25 years, as well as a consultant, executive coach, workshop leader, and facilitator. She consults with executives and leaders in complex business and family environments to help them optimize the functioning of both individuals and the family business system. Her work focuses on helping families and teams to understand interpersonal dynamics and improve relationships, as well as to implement proven communication strategies, develop individual strengths, engage in productive conflict, leverage that conflict for growth, and clarify business direction or transitions.
Her expertise as a practicing psychologist and family therapist allows her both to quickly evaluate and understand the needs of individuals and group dynamics in a team or family business and to provide effective feedback and coaching to facilitate change.
Diane earned her BA (Honors) from Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, Canada and her MA and PhD in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Lifespan Development, from the University of Victoria, Canada. She completed her internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and her post-doctoral fellowship at the Houston Psychotherapy Institute. Diane holds a Certificate in Leadership Coaching from the Doerr Institute for New Leaders at Rice University in Houston.
Diane lives with her husband and teen daughter in Houston, Texas.
