Nathan Hamilton is an accomplished executive with wide-ranging experience across a variety of private and not-for-profit organizations. His work with enterprising families focuses on leadership and also includes strategy, governance design and continuity planning.
Nate started his career in the not-for-profit sector working his way up to the Executive Director role of the International Education Exchange (IEE), a US based INGO operating a national mentoring program in Rwanda. For those 3 years in Rwanda, Nate partnered closely with many of the largest NGOs in the world including USAID, UNICEF, Plan and DFID pushing his understanding of Philanthropy in the modern context.
Most recently Nate was working as the Vice President of Strategy for a Sales and Marketing Company where he worked with family businesses on projects emphasizing growth and governance. Drawing on this experience, Nate has developed tools to help family businesses address issues of continuity, governance, and leadership.
Nate holds a Master in Psychology from Fuller Theological Seminary as well as an MBA for the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
He currently lives in Orlando with his wife and three children Judah, Sadie, and Asher.
