Catalina supports business families in designing and implementing plans and strategies that promote the continuity of the family enterprise across generations.

Focused on the Latin American market, Catalina has extensive experience in the design and implementation of family and corporate governance structures, as well as the development of family policies and agreements that address the intersection of family and business dynamics.

Catalina has worked with numerous business families in the development and evolution of their Family Councils, applying processes and practices that strengthen family alignment and generational continuity. Her experience spans from the design and implementation of these governance bodies to the development of strategic agendas, work plans, and evaluation mechanisms that enhance their effectiveness and ability to address the challenges associated with family and business transitions. She has also served as an active member of Family Councils for  business families across Latin America.

Catalina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, a Master’s degree in Family Consulting in Non-Clinical Settings from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, and an MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.

A native of Colombia, Catalina is fluent in both Spanish and English. She currently lives in Cali, Colombia, with her husband and their three daughters.
